Indian Alliance for Public Health Preparedness

The Alliance for Environmental Surveillance is a sector-shaper for Environmental Surveillance to be acknowledged as a key public health tool by harmonizing academic and private sector efforts. The Alliance is envisioned to be India’s first holistic platform focussed on Environmental Surveillance by offering a unique multi-sectoral collaboration with different resource partners sharing knowledge and learnings, further disseminating information for an evidence-based decision making.

This Alliance is powered by Swasti’s Precision Health Platform, which having initiated Asia’s first wastewater surveillance for SARS-CoV-2 in Bengaluru, shall now provide digital backbone, technical support and resource mobilisation support to cities for environmental surveillance.

This initiative is piloted, incubated, and promoted by Swasti and Catalyst Management Services as part of the #COVIDActionCollab supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Skoll Foundation.
